Miss Amelia was born on October 15th at 3:57 pm. We love her so, so much and every time I rock her and sing to her I feel overwhelmed by how blessed Austin and I are. I had a fairly easy pregnancy (of course there were ups/downs and swollen feet) and a very smooth (if you can call it that) labor. When Amelia came out she had the cord wrapped around her neck twice so she had a hard time breathing at first. I got to hold her right after she was born which was so wonderful (I thought skin-to-skin might be weird but I totally loved it!). She still was struggling and wouldn't really cry so after a minute the nurse took her from me and like 6 nurses came running in. It freaked me out a little but Austin was with her the entire time and he kept telling me she was beautiful and that she was ok. Austin has all the pictures that we took at the hospital so I will have to post them later, but here are a couple that we have taken since we got home.
